Cousins

We went to my sisters' (that's plural for two--they live together) house in LA last week. Kayla had SO much fun with her big cousins!

I think it might be time for a workspace of her own. Especially since we only have one facility in our 920 sq foot palace, and if she's in the middle of her blue period...let's just say I wouldn't want to have to be the one to disrupt her "wa".

Self Medicating

I went to the Longs Pharmacy the other day to pick up some medicine for Benson and the Pharmacist said, "Good Evening Mrs. Young, how many for you today?" (Oh just 3 prescriptions for Benson thanks!)
I don't know why this should surprise me--we are obviously in there quite frequently, but his familiarity with me brought to light the stark reality that my kids are on drugs...a lot.
Here is a photo of Benson giving himself a 15 minute dose of his asthma medication all by himself through our good friend "the Nebby" (nebulizer). That in itself is a sad commentary, but I suppose I am grateful for modern medicine because if we lived in 1850,
my kids would clearly be dead:)
